Terms and Conditions

A provisional booking can be held for NO LONGER than 14 days. A non-refundable deposit of 100 is required to secure the booking. If the required deposit is not received within 14 days from the provisional booking date the hotel reserves the right to cancel any provisional booking without further notice.

All deposits are non-refundable. The hotel may, at its discretion, transfer the deposit to an alternative date.

Payments

  • Payment is due in full 28 days before the event/wedding.
  • A credit card or cash deposit may be asked to cover for possible damage to property or vandalism. If cash is given as deposit this will be refunded 24hrs after the event.
  • Changes in numbers, the hotel may not be able to accommodate an increase in numbers, any increase in numbers must be disclosed more than 28 days prior to the event/wedding.
  • If payment is not completed 28 days in advance of the event/wedding and zero, contact is made, the Hotel reserves the right to cancel the event with zero refunds.
  • A decrease in numbers from those first intimated, the hotel reserves the right to charge in full.
  • Confetti, there will be a charge of £50 clean up.
  • Pre bookings, all events/weddings pre booked one year or more in advance will be subject to price increases, these charges will be implemented in January every year, any additional payments will be required 28 days prior to event/wedding.

Cancelation of Event/Wedding

By the Hotel

  • The Hotel may cancel any Event/Wedding if the following circumstances occur.
  • The Hotel is closed in whole or in part due to circumstances outside the control of the Hotel.
  • The Hotel will refund any advanced payments

Please note all deposits are none refundable

  • In circumstances which is the sole opinion of the Hotel would lead to either the reputation of the Hotel would be damaged or property of the Hotel being damaged the hotel will refund any advanced payments made, subject to any costs involved and absolves itself from any further liability.

By the Client

  • Should the Client cancel a confirmed booking, the Hotel reserves the right to impose the following charges.

28 days in advance – 100%

28 days to 12 weeks – 75%

12 weeks to 26 weeks – 50%

Clients and Guests

  • The Hotel has statutory obligations such as Liquor Licensing, Fire Regulations, Health & Safety and Hygiene; therefore, it is an obligation of the client and guests to comply with these requirements. These requirements will, when necessary, be enforced by hotel staff.
  • Any Client or Guest found either using or in possession of illegal drugs will be asked the premises immediately. The Hotel has zero tolerance policy.
  • Any Client or Guest will not buy/give alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 years.
  • Any minor found drinking or intoxicated, their appropriate adult/parent will be found and asked the leave the premises. The Hotel has zero tolerance policy.
  • Guests that are fortunate enough to look underage we request that they have I.D to purchase alcohol.
  • The Hotel complies with challenge 25
  • Consumables must be supplied by the hotel or authorised agents.
  • Any guest or client found with their own drinks/alcohol it will be asked to leave it in their car by staff.

General

  • Any allergies or intolerances MUST be known prior to menus being set.
  • At 10am on the morning after the Event/Wedding all decorations provided or hired by the Bride and Groom /Organiser must be removed.
  • The Hotel has a policy of no drinks to be brought onto the premises, this is alcohol or soft drinks and includes wedding favors prosecco and wine, anyone found with these products not supplied by the Hotel, will be asked to leave the items in their vehicles.
  • The Clients will be liable for any damage caused by either themselves or guests and will be charged accordingly.
  • The Hotel will take reasonable steps to fulfil its obligations in respect of the Event/Wedding to the best of its ability in accordance with the details provided.
  • All prices are subject to an annual review that will take effect in January, this is also applicable to previously confirmed bookings.
  • The Hotel reserves the right to add any additional charges which was not known at the time of booking.

Cancellations

Cancellation charges are as follows:

Within 28 days of the event: 100% of TOTAL cost of event
Within 3 months of the event: 7%% of TOTAL revenue of the event, including accommodation
Outside 3 months of the event: 50% of TOTAL revenue of the event, including accommodation

Payment terms

All payments must be made in full within 28 days prior to the event.
